Trackiko ("we", "our", "the app") provides live public transit tracking for ferry, metro, and feeder services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

By using Trackiko, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information you provide

• Name — used to identify you within the app.
• Phone number — used to identify you and prevent duplicate or misleading location reports. Your phone number is not displayed publicly and is not shared with other users.

b) Location information

• Live GPS location — collected only when you actively choose to share it (e.g., tapping "Yes, I am on the boat" or adding a ferry stop). This location is used to show your position on the live map to other users tracking the same route, and to calculate ETAs.
• We do not collect your location in the background or when the app is closed. Location is only accessed while you are actively using the live-tracking feature.

c) Automatically collected information

• Basic device and usage information (such as app version and general diagnostics) may be collected to maintain app performance and reliability.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Identify you within the app and prevent misuse of the live tracking feature.
• Display your real-time location to other users while you are actively sharing it, so they can track ferries, metro, and feeder services.
• Calculate estimated arrival times and route information.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app's functionality.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your name, phone number, or location data with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

Your live location is visible only within the app, to other users tracking the same transit route, for the duration that you actively choose to share it. Your phone number is never shown to other users.

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the safety of our users.

4. Data Retention

• Live location data is used only in real time to power the tracking map and is not retained once your session ends or you stop sharing your location.
• Your name and phone number are retained for as long as you maintain an account with Trackiko, so you can be recognized on return visits ("Continue as...").

5. Your Choices and Rights

• You may choose not to share your live location at any time; this will not prevent you from viewing schedules, stations, or other users' shared locations.
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data (name and phone number) by contacting us at trackiko.contact@gmail.com.
• You may stop using the app at any time to stop all data collection.

6. Deleting Your Account and Data

You can request deletion of your Trackiko account and all associated data (your name, phone number, and any stored account information) at any time.

To request deletion: email us at info@hyzr.in from the phone number or account details you used to sign up, with the subject line "Delete My Account." We will process your request and permanently delete your account data within 30 days.

Note: live location data is never stored beyond your active session, so there is no historical location data to delete — it is already discarded automatically once you stop sharing your location or close the app.

7. Children's Privacy

Trackiko is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
